Family Search

Indexers and arbitrators worked hard for 24 hours on July 2, 2012 to try and set a new record for the number of names indexed and arbitrated in 24 hours.  The goal was 5 million names!

We more than doubled that goal!

I personally did something in excess of 1,000, but I’m not sure of just how many.  On a rough count I indexed at least 27 batches with 40 individuals per batch.  (I’m waiting for all of my batches to be checked and then I’ll know for sure.)

It was fun, but I was suffering from eye strain when I finally quit.
