I can’t believe that the Liberal/Progressive movement is evil. They must believe the BS they spread.
On the other hand I can’t understand how they can continue to pursue actions that have failed repeatedly. They seem to be caught up in their rhetoric and are totally blind to what their actions have perpetuated.
Increasing the role of government simply increases corruption and fraud. In many cases the result is exactly the opposite of what is intended.
The Federal government has been involved in education for decades with the sole purpose of increasing the competitiveness of our graduates. And for decades we have seen our youth fall further and further behind the rest of the world. We spend more than other countries and have lower achievements. But what is the liberal/progressive answer to this problem? More government control and more money! How stupid is that? What is the definition of insanity? (Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.)
The liberal/progressive approach to improving the economy? They want to increase the cost of energy by increasing regulations, spend tax money on ‘infrastructure’ that they approve of (trains, wind turbines, solar farms). In other words they will increase the cost of making things and increase taxes and they expect this to stimulate the economy? History tells us that the economy grows when regulations are reduced and taxes are lowered.
Their solution to income inequality is to try and force the low income earner to a higher income via an increase in the minimum wage. They insist that this will not cost jobs. Does anyone other than the political hacks making this claim believe it? Does it make sense that businesses will simply absorb the cost of higher labor?
How can the liberal/progressive really believe this BS? Are they blinded by something I don’t see or understand?
Are they so committed to their union and special interest supporters that they can’t see that their actions actually hurt the economy?
