Great Grandma Sarah (Powell) Deweese

When I came upon the photo of John Bailey Deweese with his wife Sarah Powell I realized that after bearing six children, including my grandfather Sam, Sarah simply disappears!I also discovered that their marriage is documented on microfilm in 1874.There is also an entry from the 1900 census:

From this entry we can verify the birth dates for the entire family.  We can also see that Sarah was born in Iowa (but no location) and that her father was born in Ohio.  We also learn that she didn’t know where her mother was born.

After this entry Sarah seems to disappear!  I assume she was buried in Mahaska county, but there doesn’t seem to be any record of her death or burial place.  There are death records on microfilm in Mahaska county, but the dates I’m looking for have not been digitized.  It would require visiting the county seat and actually viewing the records.  I do know she passed away sometime between 1900 when she was included in the census and 1920 when John Bailey is listed as ‘widowed’.  A search of cemetery records failed.
